Last pint in Zagreb

Croatia, photography, Travel

Pivnica Mali Medo (‘Little Bear Beerhall’), on Tkalčićeva, a street lined with cafes and bars in the historic centre of Zagreb, Croatia. Pivnica Mali Medo serves five types of traditionally brewed, unfiltered beer from Zagreb’s Medvedgrad Brewery (Pivnica Medvedgrad), including the mighty fine Mrki Medo (‘Brown Bear’) – pictured here on its way to my table, accompanied by a smile – and the slightly stronger Grička Vještica.

This is my last evening in Croatia for this trip, after over 2 1/2 months spent mostly on the coast and islands. Sigh.
