A wall in Walthamstow

Local residents painting a wall on the corner of Blackhorse Road and the High Street, Walthamstow, London E17, today. The project was organized by Katja Rosenberg (seen here painting her cat Tinki), and will continue tomorrow – passers by are encouraged to come and paint something themselves.

Artist Emma Scutt, who designed the mural

For an earlier photograph of street art on the corner of the same wall see here.

Signs (PAW 7/52)

Week 7 of the PAW (photo-a-week) challenge on Nikongear.com.
Sign on wall in Walthamstow, London E17. This was taken just around the corner from an earlier image in this series, near the end of Walthamstow Market and St James Street station.

And in case anyone’s wondering where PAW 6/52 went, it was this image of Toumani Diabate live at the Union Chapel.
